AIDEL T.
Hello there!
I would love the opportunity to help your family make the most of this complicated time and will ensure that your children are both physically and mentally healthy under my care.
A little bit about me:
I am currently a Junior in college studying Liberal Arts and hoping to attend Law School after graduation. I grew up in a tight knit community surrounded by young children and babysitting for large families. From the ages of 15 to 18 I worked for my synagogue's childcare center, spending most of my time with young ones, 6 months to 4 years old. I also have experience tutoring highschool aged students.
Let's just say nothing phases me, I have seen it all, and absolutely love childcare. Childhood is the most formative years of a person's life, as children learn from their surroundings rapidly, and I take the impact I have on the children around me very seriously.
In my free time I love to do yoga, pottery, and read! I am even known to watch math videos on YouTube every once in a while.
Childcare truly enhances my life and I cannot wait to meet you and your family!

KATHY M
Hi there! I am an actress and a theatre teacher living in New York City. As an actress I've worked in t.v., film, Broadway tour, and theatres across the country. As a teacher, I have worked with Child's Play NY since 2011 and loved every minute of it! Since March of 2020 we've transitioned our songs, stories, movement, games and theatre making to Zoom and had so much fun embracing new technology staying connected and creating. Some of my favorite moments have been classes with just two students, allowing time to really expand our ideas and imaginations together, and for me to do what I most enjoy, listening. There are also quieter days when the gift of companionship and attention are everything, and all that is needed. I've worked as a full time nanny and part time babysitter to so many families over my 20 years in NYC. I am happy to say that I still love getting to know kids, and creating a safe, fun space for what is special and unique to come out. I have activities up my sleeve, but have found that kids really love to lead with their interests. I am originally from the South Shore in Massachusetts, I am from a big family, I started babysitting at 10 (!). I love sunny days, the ocean, riding my bike, ice skating, podcasts, singing ( slightly off key) dancing (sans moves), and learning from other people. I look forward to getting to know you!
